What's coming

In August 2026, Thailand Livability Index publishes its inaugural annual report: rankings of all 77 Thai provinces across 30 indicators in seven categories: environment & climate, healthcare, connectivity & transport, cost & economy, safety & governance, lifestyle & culture, and demographics & scale.

The report includes overall rankings, category-level rankings, province-by-province scorecards, and a methodology supplement. The dataset publishes simultaneously to Zenodo with a citable DOI under a CC BY-NC 4.0 license.

Methodology and data

The full methodology is published at /en/methodology/, and the dataset will publish to Zenodo at launch (DOI added here at hard launch). The project is led by William J. Reynolds (ORCID 0009-0005-1217-7465), and the methodology and data are released under open licenses (MIT for code, CC BY-NC 4.0 for the dataset).
